Wageningen University is very strong in the life scientists. It offers 18 degree programs at undergraduate level, these are largely biological and its impact related. The main subject areas are in: nature and the environment; Animals and plants; Life sciences and technology; health; and Economy and society.

The Masters programs at Wageningen are taught in English making them ideal for overseas students who wish to experience life in holland but have no knowledge of a very complex language. Some of the programs offered at masters level include Bioinformatics, Food Studies, Forest and Nature Conservation, Land and Water Management, and Plant Biotechnology.
