Located in the capital of Japan the Tokyo Institute of Technology (東京工業大学) ranks as one of the strongest universities in its field within Asia. There are three campuses associated with the institute these are the Ookayama campus, the Suzukakedai campus and the Tamachi campus. Of these it is the Ookayama campus, located in Meguro which is considered the main campus. The Tokyo Institute of Technology ranking is number 4th in Japan, and 106th in the world. There are many famous alumni and faculty associated with the institute, these include the Nobel Laureate Hideki Shirakawa. Also of note are Shigeo Hirose, Satoru Iwata and Kenichi Ohmae.
