The University of Cagliari provides academic qualifications according to the Italian University System. For example, the Master’s degree falls into 2 categories: First Level Master’s and Second Level Master’s. PhD programs are available in a number of fields, including Economics, Philology, Translation, Earth Sciences, Chemistry, and so on.
University of Cagliari Facilities
The newly constructed 73-hectares University Campus is located on the outskirts of town. It houses most faculties and departments, and research facilities, including one of the University general hospitals.

Currently, there are around 36,000 students at the University of Cagliari.
